FAQ: Welcome
Does the deposit go towards the cost of my microblading service?
Yes. The deposit is used to secure your appointment and will be applied towards the cost of your eyebrow service.

Did the microblading work? My eyebrows look patchy/like they’re fading/like pigment is disappearing. Is this normal?
Yes, this is all a part of the normal healing process. Microblading uses extremely small blades to make tiny, hairlike incisions in your skin while depositing pigment into those incisions. As with any insult to your skin, your body will react and start clotting to promote skin healing. This can lead to scabbing and itching, which are good signs that your skin is healing. As the scabbing settles and begins to fall off, this may result in a patchy brow appearance with some areas appearing lighter than others. This is normal. The finished look will not be visible until the brows have completely healed which takes 4 weeks. Everyone’s skin heals differently, so some may retain pigment better than others. No need to worry, these differences can be corrected during your 4-6 week touch-up.

Microblading, microshading, ombré, combination…What is the right brow style for me?
Each of these eyebrow enhancement techniques differ and are better suited for different individuals depending on their skin-type (dry vs. oily) and medical history. The overall effect of these techniques also differs (natural looking, denser/more defined, shading gradient, etc.), so it also depends on what you want your brows to look like. Schedule a complimentary consultation today to discuss which brow style is best for you!

How often should I touch-up my brows?
We strongly recommend that you touch-up your brows annually. Waiting for longer can result in the loss of the brow structure and framework requiring repeat brow mapping and resulting in higher costs. However, if your skin is oily or if you do not follow the aftercare instructions you may notice your brows fading more quickly. In this case, you can get a touch-up at 3-6 months for a color boost.

Is there an age limit?
You must be at least 18 years old, otherwise you can enjoy fabulous brows at any age.

Can you microblade over scars?
Yes, as long as it is not a keloid scar. If keloids are cut into they can result in an even larger keloid scar.

How long is the procedure?
It can take anywhere from 2-3 hours.

Can I bring a friend or my kids?
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, please do not bring anyone to your appointment their safety and for ours.

Do you travel?
Currently I do not travel, but may consider in the future. Stay tuned…

Is the 4-6 week touch-up mandatory?
Yes! The procedure is two parts: first, your initial visit and second, your touch-up. During the touch-up appointment we reapply an even layer of pigment to your entire brow to ensure they last longer and reapply additional pigment to areas of your brow that did not take the pigment as well. The touch-up is crucial for your brows to look their best and last longer.
